What an exciting week it has been! Today, the third graders presented their Fanciful Tale reports and I was just beaming as I realized just how much they have grown since August. I saw paragraphs of writing, true knowledge of difficult text, and even sculptures or art work to go along with the reports. We are moving into non-fiction as we march on through March. I have also posted the new word study or spelling choice menu on my blog.
Jansen, Madison, and I were also invited to go to Richland Newhope for a lunch and to meet Miss. Ohio and Miss. Wheelchair Ohio. What an amazing memory for students to have. This weekend I will be traveling with other staff members to Cleveland for a two day conference! I am excited about this opportunity and will come back filled with great ideas. I am truly so lucky to have a job that is fun, challenging, and rewarding!
