It was Shadow Day at Discovery School. This means each class gets to move up to the next grade to see what it will be like the next year. I was excited to have the second graders come next door to explore and ask questions. We used our shadows to create silhouettes of ourselves. Each child then chose their favorite color and wrote awesome adjectives about themselves and each other so I could get to know them better. We also played an awesome game of spiral multiplication. You can find this game here: http://www.education.com/activity/article/spiral/
